Novice Monk English Workshop Delivery
FutureSense Thailand has been delivering English workshops to novice monk students from 2 of our partner temple schools. These schools do not have an English teacher for the students. Novice monks are male children that lack of income to study in normal school or parents want them to study while learn about Buddhism at the same time.
We are really happy that we can support students to continue learning English and to help students practice their English skills. We believe English will be beneficial for students in the future to have better opportunities in life.
Conversational English workshops
In the era of globalization, English communication has become one of the most valuable tools which expands peoples horizons and provides opportunities for whom acquire the skill. With a focus on education which is one of our key commitments and UN Sustainable Development Goal number 4 quality of education, FutureSense Foundation aims to assist underprivileged children to achieve these skills through fun and engaging workshops.
In November, FutureSense Thailand have delivered 32 English workshops in our partner schools: 19 workshops at Temple schools and 13 workshops at hilltribe schools. For temple schools, reaching 179 novice monks. For hilltribe schools, our program was delivered to 135 students. In total, we have provided sustainable immediate support to 314 children who will grow up and make a change in this world.
Although the number of students we reached is a great reward, with our goal to support education in sustainable ways, we will keep on encouraging these children to achieve any goals they have been dreaming about.
