We are committed to safeguarding children, youth and individuals of vulnerable populations

Children, youth and individuals of vulnerable populations are at the centre of everything we do. We recognize our duty of care and responsibility to safeguard children, youth and individuals of vulnerable populations coming into direct or indirect contact with us and our programmes. We therefore uphold a number of policies and codes of conduct.

We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in the communities we work in and believes that all children have a right to protection.
Acting on behalf of the children’s best interests, and in agreement with the United Nations Convention on the Right of the Child, FutureSense strives to design and implement programmes that protect children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

We recognise our responsibility and are committed to safeguarding children, youth and individuals of vulnerable populations that represent, visit or volunteer with FutureSense Foundation.

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all individuals coming into contact with our programmes.
We operate a zero tolerance policy for all forms of discrimination and harassment.

All volunteers and visitors to FutureSense Foundation programmes are required to read, sign and abide by the volunteer code of conduct. All staff and contractors are required to read, sign and abide by their written contracts and agreements outlining expected code of conduct.

Reporting safeguarding concerns

We have a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of abuse or exploitation and take all concerns very seriously.
