A distinctive feature of our model is the integration of international students from the UK and Australia into community-based programmes through structured service-learning placements. Our country teams ensure students contribute meaningfully while gaining transformative global learning experiences.We are now seeking a Regional Manager to lead our South East Asia region from a Cambodia base.
Role Responsibilities
The RoleThis is a senior leadership role combining programme oversight, regional strategy, and new hub development.You will:Lead & Strengthen Existing Hubs
  • Provide strategic oversight to our current Hub Managers in Thailand and Cambodia
  • Ensure programme delivery aligns with annual strategy and organisational priorities
  • Maintain strong standards in safeguarding, student welfare, and programme quality
  • Support budgeting, reporting, and operational compliance
Develop New Hubs (2nd location in Cambodia, Laos & Vietnam)
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and partnership scoping to establish new hubs
  • Build relationships with local NGOs, community groups, and stakeholders
  • Develop start-up plans including programme design and operational structures
  • Lead recruitment of new Hub Managers and teams to manage new locations

Ensure Programme Quality & Student Engagement
  • Ensure programmes respond to community-identified needs
  • Oversee curriculum development across education, health, and livelihoods initiatives
  • Establish suitable monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems
  • Ensure meaningful, ethical engagement of student groups in programme delivery
About You

We are seeking a development professional who:

  • Has 7+ years’ experience in international development or NGO leadership
  • Has ideally managed multi-country or regional programmes
  • Has experience building or scaling programmes in new contexts
  • Is confident leading multicultural teams
  • Understands participatory community development approaches
  • Has experience working with volunteers or international students (highly desirable)
  • Is fluent in English
  • Is currently based in Cambodia or willing to relocate
