Arvind Malhotra

Chair & CEO

Arvind co-founded the FutureSense Group in 2005 as a social enterprise and set up the FutureSense Foundation in 2009 to drive long term social impact, driven by a passion for greater social equality. Arvind has led the foundation since its start and overseen its expansion across the six countries over the years. With career spanning over 30 years, Arvind brings a wide range of business, management and international experience to the Board. Having started his working life in consumer marketing with Unilever, Arvind spent over a decade leading financial services business to expand into new markets and establish customer centric processes. Arvind is a champion for global citizenship and believes firmly in the idea that we must all play our part to tackle global challenges.

Prakriti Malhotra

Co Founder & Trustee

Prakriti co-founded the Futuresense Group along with her husband Arvind in 2005 and currently leads the Challenges Abroad U.K. team. As a founding trustee, Prakriti has been involved with the strategic developments of the Futuresense Foundation from its start, helping it take shape across the global hubs and establish key partnerships. Prakriti has been involved in development work at the grassroots level for over 30 years and is passionate about tackling women’s issues and the challenges facing the girl-child in developing countries. She strongly believes that through education and community action we can enable change and bring about equality.

Stefano Battain

Trustee

Stefano is global livelihoods adviser at War Child UK. He previously spent 8 years working in Tanzania, South Sudan and Jordan in various roles supporting vulnerable groups to have stronger livelihoods and enhanced food security. Born in Italy, Stefano spent his early years in the Dolomites, surrounded by beautiful mountains and green valleys that forged his love for nature. In his early twenties, he started volunteering for a humanitarian organisation while graduating in communication. He also volunteered in South America and India before undertaking his Masters in Poverty Reduction and Development Management at the University of Birmingham. Stefano is passionate about travelling, agriculture and socio-environmental justice. In 2015 he took a sabbatical year to travel around the world documenting small grassroots initiatives promoting food sovereignty, based on that he founded the initiative ALTERRATIVE, with his wife Daniela. They currently live in London with their cat, Zaki.

Kiron Bose

Advisor

Kiron has over 20 years experience in entrepreneurship, fund management, banking and finance in developing countries. From 1996 to 2018 Kiron worked in Asia with companies and governments, focusing on South and Southeast Asia for much of the period. His previous experience includes 11 years at Goldman Sachs, an early investor in India, Bangladesh, the Philippines and Indonesia and as CIO of Brummer & Partners’ Frontier Fund. He is Chairman of a media startup based in Singapore and Manila. Kiron has a MA in economics from Cambridge University and an MPhil. in economics from Oxford University. He speaks English, Bengali and French. His interests include development economics, Indian art, history and football

Hi, I’m Dan from Australia, the Regional Programmes and Partnerships Director for South East Asia. What I love most about my job is witnessing the inspiring work of our in-country teams as they create transformative experiences for their communities and our groups that join us on the journey. I am lucky that my role allows me to travel and immerse myself in diverse cultures, learning about the history and traditions, sharing meals, and celebrating the culture along the way. I’m passionate about people and I’m proud to work for an organisation that helps break down barriers and inspires new possibilities.

Fun fact: Once I was stranded in a desert and the only thing I had to eat for three days was a two-litre bottle of custard.

Hi, I’m Chloe! I’m from the UK and I’m the Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator at FutureSense Foundation. I enjoy working with people from all over the world and learning from their experiences. I love being able to share the stories of the incredible work happening across our global hubs and support our charity with fundraising initiatives to expand our impact. I’m passionate about helping others, exploring new cultures, and constantly learning.

Regional Manager Gonzalo

(Central and Latin America)

I am Gonzalo Davila from Trujillo, Peru, Regional Manager for Latin America at FutureSense Foundation. I have lived in eight countries, working in development contexts prior to assuming this role with the United Nations in Colombia. I am passionate about my country, Peru, my nation, Latin America, and creating opportunities in underserved communities worldwide. What I value most about my job and working with communities is learning from them and connecting global perspectives with local impact.

Fun fact: Outside of work, I enjoy dancing and practicing sports (muay thai, boxing, running, and football). I am also a volunteer firefighter. 

Cambodia Sarah

Hub Manager

I’m Sarah, a Taiwanese-American Austrian with a master’s in development economics. I’ve had the privilege of working with communities across four continents and have been part of FSF Cambodia since July 2024. What I love most about my job is the chance to connect travel with meaningful work, all while enjoying incredible food along the way. The people I work with continually teach me valuable lessons in respect, kindness, humility, and gratitude, and the children often remind me just how much we can learn from them. Outside of work, you’ll probably find me hiking, rock climbing, or recharging with a bit of Muay Thai.

Fun fact: I lived in the jungle in Mexico for three months with a big snake as my neighbour.

Cambodia Amanda

Programme Delivery Lead

Hello, I’m Amanda! I’m originally from the US where I studied Environmental Science and Sustainable Development. I joined the FSF team as the Programme Delivery Lead for the Cambodia Hub in June 2025. I’ve been in Southeast Asia for the past year combining my experience in regional planning with lessons from local communities. My favorite part of this job is working alongside the community to build capacity to further the dreams and aspirations of students and families in this area. Outside of work, you can find me immersed in nature, music, and puzzles.

Fun Fact: I am attempting to learn Vietnamese and now, Khmer.

Cambodia Ratana

Programme Implementor

I’m Ratana, from Cambodia, and have been working with FutureSense Foundation since July 2023, where I am currently a Programme Implementor. What I love most about my job is meeting new people from around the world and learning from their unique experiences, especially when it comes to different cultures. Working in my community is especially meaningful to me because it allows me to give back and create opportunities for those who need support and motivation. I’m also eager to learn from other communities, and gain knowledge and build connections, especially through FSF’s global network.

Fun fact: despite having a degree in English, I’m still working on perfecting my skills!

cambodia Kearong

Programme Implementor

Hi, I’m Kearong from Cambodia and I’ve been with FutureSense Foundation for two years, where I currently work as a Programme Implementor. In this role, I love supporting groups as they deliver projects that make a real difference in the local community. I love sharing Khmer language, culture, and Buddhism with participants—and, of course, enjoying Karaoke nights after our farewell dinners! I’m passionate about community development, personal growth, and continually learning new skills.

Fun fact: I love sharing the Khmer phrase ‘ThvayBangkum,’ which means ‘hello’ when speaking to monks—but if pronounced incorrectly, it can amusingly mean ‘hello to the toilet!’

Cambodia Srou

Programme Implementor

Hello, I’m Srou from the Cambodia Hub. I joined the team at FutureSense Foundation in 2023, where I am a Programme Implementor within education. As a proud local, I have a deep understanding of my community and a strong desire to see it thrive. Working with FSF has been an incredible opportunity to contribute to its growth and improvement. I warmly welcome all participants who join us in making a difference, embracing the spirit of global citizenship. Together, we’re committed to ensuring that ‘no one is left behind.

Fun fact: In my spare time, I like to play volleyball and spend time with my friends.

cambodia Sophat

Programme Implementor

Hi, I’m Sophat from Battambang, Cambodia. I graduated a master’s degree in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies and bachelor’s degree in English language. I’ve been working with FSF since May 2025 as a PI. What I love most about my job is the ground-support for the community development and sustainability where we serve through our core programmes: Educations, Health, Livelihood and Environmental sustainability.  I love to see every young kid going to school daily and older people with clear vision and healthy. Outside of work, you’ll find me somewhere in town playing volleyball or sipping my 20% sweet coconut coffee with other friends. 

Fun Fact:  I’d been a Buddhist monk for 12 years, but after leaving my monastic life, I never drink or smoke. 

Cambodia Ashna

Programme Development Lead

Hi, I’m Ashna from Denmark and I have a Master’s degree in sociology. I’m passionate about traveling and exploring new places and cultures. I first came to Cambodia in 2019 and lived here, and I’ve been back several times since – so I’m incredibly happy to now permanently call it my home and to work in a country I care deeply about. I joined FSF Cambodia in March 2026 and what I love most about my job is the opportunity to grow and learn from the strength, creativity, and kindness of the communities I work with. Outside of work, you’ll find me reading, running, petting a dog, or trying something new and adventurous.

Fun fact: Growing up in a multicultural household, I spoke four different languages and now I’m also trying to learn Khmer!

Country Manager

I am Laxmi, from Nepal. India has been my Karma Bhoomi for more than a decade and I joined Future Sense Foundation in June 2024 as an Operations Manager for the India Hub. What I love most about my role is working with people from diverse backgrounds and making a positive impact on their lives, while also learning and growing from each experience, allowing us to become better individuals. I’m passionate about supporting underprivileged communities worldwide and strongly believe in global citizenship in our interconnected world.

Fun fact: Remember the line from FRIENDS: Joey doesn’t share food. Well, you are smart.

Country Manager

I am Gandip, and I come from the beautiful country, Nepal. I’ve been working as an Operations Hub Manager since February 2023. My role involves developing community partnerships, designing long-lasting impactful programmes, and supporting national SDG goals. What I love most is seeing communities, stakeholders, and young people unite to address issues like climate change and development. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for young people to thrive—through education, environmental projects, hygiene, and livelihood improvements—helping them grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

Fun Fact: My first volunteering experience in 2017 working at a rural community on a livelihood development project motivated me to work in community development initiatives.

I’m Neeru, from Nepal, a country renowned for its rich cultural heritage, tradition and diversity. I joined FutureSense Foundation in 2018 as a Group Mentor and Project Implementor and now serve as Programme Delivery Lead. Fun facts: I’m an avid solo traveler who enjoys immersing myself in diverse cultures. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, and gardening.

Programme Implementor

I’m Deekshak from Lalitpur, Nepal and I have been at the FutureSense Foundation since June 2023, where I work as a Programme Implementor. In my role, I support the in-country team, participants, and community partners through project coordination, mentorship, and research. My focus is aligning our work with the UN’s goals in Education, Health, and Livelihoods to create lasting community impact. I’m deeply passionate about working with diverse volunteers and children, and I believe even small efforts can create life-changing results. I also love exploring my country and learning about its rich, diverse culture.

Fun fact: I have travelled almost all districts of the country and am soon planning to make that a record of 100%.

Country Manager

Hi, I am Josias from Panama. I’ve been the Operations Hub Manager since March 2024. What I love most about my job is working closely with local communities and sharing meaningful moments with those we help. As someone who loves my country, I enjoy showing our international participants the beauty of Panama’s land and culture. My passion for community work began when my travel agency collaborated with rural and indigenous communities. Their connection to nature and unique worldview inspired me to give back by supporting education, community development, and healthcare projects, made possible through the contributions of our clients and local companies.

Fun fact: I’m also a photographer and videographer! I’ve travelled to several countries as a portrait photographer, even working with big brands like Corona, Expedia, and Beautiful Destinations to create travel content showcasing incredible tourist spots.

Panama Martina

Programme Delivery Lead

I’m from Sydney, Australia, and work as a Junior Programme Delivery Lead. I look forward to building strong connections with our partners and creating initiatives that make a real impact in the community. I love working in Panama because the people are warm and open, and eager to share their cultures and stories—despite being so far from home, I feel right at home. Seeing our programmes create positive change, no matter how big or small, is always exciting. Hi, I’m Alice Rojas from Panama. I am a Programme Implementor at FutureSense Foundation, where I have been working for the past two months supporting the delivery of community-based programmes and collaborating with local learners and partners. I enjoy creating meaningful learning experiences and seeing the growth and confidence of young people. I love working in my community because I can connect with people from my own town and contribute to positive change. I’m passionate about education, leadership, and love exploring new places, gaining new experiences, and continuously learning from different cultures.

A fun fact about me is that when I’m stressed, I start baking desserts!

Peru Erika

Programme Delivery Lead

I’m Erika, originally from Lima, Peru. I’ve been with FutureSense Foundation as the Programme Delivery Lead since 2023, and I truly cherish every moment of it. What I love most about my job is the opportunity to interact with different communities, design educational projects, and create sustainability initiatives. Working in Urubamba’s community is incredibly rewarding as it allows me to directly see the impact of our work on kids’ lives, making a tangible difference where it counts the most. I’m deeply passionate about learning, climate action, education, technology, and arts and I strive every day to contribute positively in this area.

Fun fact: I like cooking Peruvian food and I have two dogs called Nina and Chispas.

Peru Domenica

Hub Manager

I’m Domenica from Peru. I’m the Country Manager for our hub in Urubamba, in the beautiful Sacred Valley of Cusco. What I love most about my job is working closely with our amazing community in the Andes—sharing, learning, and connecting with people of all ages who strive to make the world a fairer, kinder, and more human place. I’m passionate about nature, adventure, art, music, and our incredibly rich Peruvian culture and heritage.


Fun fact: I’m also a salsa dance instructor—dancing has shown me how transformative movement and expression can be. Plus, it’s so much fun!

Country Manager

Hi! I’m Maria from Tanzania, and I joined the team in 2022 as a Programme Coordinator, growing into my current role as the Operations Hub Manager. I love welcoming everyone to our community and supporting meaningful cultural experiences that foster global citizenship. With a background in banking, finance, marketing, and public relations, I draw on this experience to lead impactful programmes. I love working with young people, especially in educational settings, and giving back to empower marginalized groups. As a mother, I’m passionate about creating opportunities for children and contributing to community development.

Fun fact: I love to dance, and I’m always ready to bust a move!

Hi! I’m Elizabeth from Tanzania and I have been working as a Programme Implementor since 2018. What I love most about my role is the opportunity to support and empower my community by aligning our goals with its needs. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, FSF’s initiatives aim to drive meaningful change in education, social well-being, inclusiveness, equity, women’s empowerment, and infrastructure. I’m passionate about connecting these goals to our community’s growth and resilience, ensuring each project has a positive, lasting impact.

Fun fact: I love new experiences and I’m always open to new adventures.

Programme Delivery Lead

Hi, I’m Daudi from Arusha, Tanzania. I’m a Program Delivery Lead at FSF, having joined in November 2025. I’m passionate about creating meaningful impact through education, health, and livelihood programs that improve lives. What I enjoy most about my role is seeing real change in communities and contributing to a shared vision of a better future. Being born and raised in Arusha, I’m driven to give back and help address challenges I experienced growing up. I’m passionate about empowering communities to thrive.

Fun fact: I enjoy outdoor adventures and connecting with nature through cycling and exploration

Thailand Mork

Hub Manager

Hi, I’m Mork from Thailand, and I’m the Programme Lead for Health at FutureSense Foundation, where I’ve worked for six years. I love that this role has pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me grow my skills. I’m passionate about cultural respect, believing each community has its own way of life, and it’s important to appreciate and respect these differences. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing communities apply what they’ve learned to improve their daily lives.

Fun fact: I can eat ketchup and mayonnaise with almost anything – you name it! It’s just another way of life for me.

Thailand Akari

Programme Delivery Lead

I am Akari, also known as Ria, and I’m a Programme Delivery Lead in education with the Thailand team since March 2024. What I love most about my job is supporting meaningful learning experiences for local learners and connecting with the community to drive positive change. I’m passionate about ensuring quality education reaches even the most remote areas, and I’m dedicated to advancing sustainable goals to create a better world for everyone, including myself.

Fun fact: I love exploring new cultures through food—I’m always on the lookout for the next dish to try!

Thailand Nueathong

Programme Implementor

I am Nueathong and I’ve been with FutureSense Foundation since 2024 as a Programme Implementor. There are many aspects of my job that I enjoy, including the constant opportunities to constantly try new things, helping me improve and gain valuable experience. Working with diverse communities is both challenging and rewarding, offering insights from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. Collaborating with a diverse team requires patience, understanding, and effort, but it ensures smooth and effective work.

Fun fact: I’m a foodie who loves all kinds of noodle dishes and fluffy cakes!

Thailand Ellen

Programme Implementor

Hello! I’m Ellen and I am originally from Scotland. I started as a Programme Implementor in November 2024 having completed my internship with the Thailand hub earlier in the year. I love being able to work with a diverse range of people as I am always learning through fresh perspectives. I’m passionate about helping communities thrive through their own strengths and abilities and supporting our participants on their journeys to becoming global citizens.

Fun fact: I love to travel and have lived on three different continents.

Uganda David

Country Manager

I am originally from the UK and have spent the past decade working across East Africa delivering play-based development programmes. In my role with FSF, I focus on creating safe, engaging spaces where young people can learn, grow, and build essential life skills. What I find most rewarding is seeing the lasting impact these programmes have on confidence, wellbeing, and opportunity. I am passionate about community-led development and believe strongly in the power of play to create real, sustainable change.

Fun Fact: I never miss an opportunity to have a nap. I can fall asleep anywhere.

Uganda Denis

Programme Implementor

I am from Uganda in the East African region, I work as Program Implementor with FSF, and I deliver, monitor, and manage long-term community development projects. I love impacting lives positively and sustainably, immersing myself in various cultures, meeting new people and trying new things. I am passionate about development and change.

In 2015 he took a sabbatical year to travel around the world documenting small grassroots initiatives promoting food sovereignty, based on that he founded the initiative ALTERRATIVE, with his wife Daniela. Kiron has over 20 years experience in entrepreneurship, fund management, banking and finance in developing countries. From 1996 to 2018 Kiron worked in Asia with companies and governments, focusing on South and Southeast Asia for much of the period. His previous experience includes 11 years at Goldman Sachs, an early investor in India, Bangladesh, the Philippines and Indonesia and as CIO of Brummer & Partners’ Frontier Fund. He is Chairman of a media startup based in Singapore and Manila. Kiron has a MA in economics from Cambridge University and an MPhil. in economics from Oxford University. He speaks English, Bengali and French. His interests include development economics, Indian art, history and football

Hi, I’m Dan from Australia, the Regional Programmes and Partnerships Director for South East Asia. What I love most about my job is witnessing the inspiring work of our in-country teams as they create transformative experiences for their communities and our groups that join us on the journey. I am lucky that my role allows me to travel and immerse myself in diverse cultures, learning about the history and traditions, sharing meals, and celebrating the culture along the way. I’m passionate about people and I’m proud to work for an organisation that helps break down barriers and inspires new possibilities.

Fun fact: Once I was stranded in a desert and the only thing I had to eat for three days was a two-litre bottle of custard.

Hi, I’m Chloe! I’m from the UK and I’m the Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator at FutureSense Foundation. I enjoy working with people from all over the world and learning from their experiences. I love being able to share the stories of the incredible work happening across our global hubs and support our charity with fundraising initiatives to expand our impact. I’m passionate about helping others, exploring new cultures, and constantly learning.

Fun fact: I’m a twin – and no matter where I am in the world, I’ll always go for a run to explore the area!

Regional Manager Gonzalo

(Central and Latin America)

I am Gonzalo Davila from Trujillo, Peru, Regional Manager for Latin America at FutureSense Foundation. I have lived in eight countries, working in development contexts prior to assuming this role with the United Nations in Colombia. I am passionate about my country, Peru, my nation, Latin America, and creating opportunities in underserved communities worldwide. What I value most about my job and working with communities is learning from them and connecting global perspectives with local impact.

Fun fact: Outside of work, I enjoy dancing and practicing sports (muay thai, boxing, running, and football). I am also a volunteer firefighter. 

Cambodia Sarah

Programme Delivery Lead

I’m Sarah, a Taiwanese-American Austrian with a master’s in development economics, and I’ve been the Programme Delivery Lead at FSF Cambodia since 2024. What I love most about my job is the chance to connect travel with meaningful work, all while enjoying incredible food along the way. The people I work with continually teach me valuable lessons in respect, kindness, humility, and gratitude, and the children often remind me just how much we can learn from them.

Fun fact: My favourite activities include rock-climbing and martial arts.

Cambodia Ratana

I’m Ratana, from Cambodia, and have been working with FutureSense Foundation since July 2023, where I am currently a Programme Implementor. What I love most about my job is meeting new people from around the world and learning from their unique experiences, especially when it comes to different cultures. Working in my community is especially meaningful to me because it allows me to give back and create opportunities for those who need support and motivation. I’m also eager to learn from other communities, and gain knowledge and build connections, especially through FSF’s global network.

Fun fact: despite having a degree in English, I’m still working on perfecting my skills!

cambodia Sophat

Programme Implementor

Hi, I’m Sophat from Battambang, Cambodia. I graduated a master’s degree in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies and bachelor’s degree in English language. I’ve been working with FSF since May 2025 as a PI. What I love most about my job is the ground-support for the community development and sustainability where we serve through our core programmes: Educations, Health, Livelihood and Environmental sustainability.  I love to see every young kid going to school daily and older people with clear vision and healthy. Outside of work, you’ll find me somewhere in town playing volleyball or sipping my 20% sweet coconut coffee with other friends. 

Fun Fact:  I’d been a Buddhist monk for 12 years, but after leaving my monastic life, I never drink or smoke. 

Cambodia Ashna

Hi, I’m Ashna from Denmark and I have a Master’s degree in sociology. I’m passionate about traveling and exploring new places and cultures. I first came to Cambodia in 2019 and lived here, and I’ve been back several times since – so I’m incredibly happy to now permanently call it my home and to work in a country I care deeply about. I joined FSF Cambodia in March 2026 and what I love most about my job is the opportunity to grow and learn from the strength, creativity, and kindness of the communities I work with. Outside of work, you’ll find me reading, running, petting a dog, or trying something new and adventurous.

Fun fact: Growing up in a multicultural household, I spoke four different languages and now I’m also trying to learn Khmer!

Hello, I’m Srou from the Cambodia Hub. I joined the team at FutureSense Foundation in 2023, where I am a programme implementor within education. Hi, I’m Kearong from Cambodia and I’ve been with FutureSense Foundation for two years, where I currently work as a Programme Implementor. In this role, I love supporting groups as they deliver projects that make a real difference in the local community. I love sharing Khmer language, culture, and Buddhism with participants—and, of course, enjoying Karaoke nights after our farewell dinners! I’m passionate about community development, personal growth, and continually learning new skills.

Fun fact: I love sharing the Khmer phrase ‘ThvayBangkum,’ which means ‘hello’ when speaking to monks—but if pronounced incorrectly, it can amusingly mean ‘hello to the toilet!’

I am Laxmi, from Nepal. India has been my Karma Bhoomi for more than a decade and I joined Future Sense Foundation in June 2024 as an Operations Manager for the India Hub. What I love most about my role is working with people from diverse backgrounds and making a positive impact on their lives, while also learning and growing from each experience, allowing us to become better individuals. I’m passionate about supporting underprivileged communities worldwide and strongly believe in global citizenship in our interconnected world.

I am Gandip, and I come from the beautiful country, Nepal. I’ve been working as an Operations Manager since February 2023. My role involves developing community partnerships, designing long-lasting impactful programmes, and supporting national SDG goals. What I love most is seeing communities, stakeholders, and young people unite to address issues like climate change and development. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for young people to thrive—through education, environmental projects, hygiene, and livelihood improvements—helping them grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

Fun Fact: My first volunteering experience in 2017 working at a rural community on a livelihood development project motivated me to work in community development initiatives.

I’m Neeru, from Nepal, a country renowned for its rich cultural heritage, tradition and diversity. I joined FutureSense Foundation in 2018 as a Group Mentor and Project Implementor and now serve as Programme Delivery Lead. With a focus on global challenges through local and international collaboration, I’m dedicated to creating a positive impact in disadvantaged communities. My work is centered on sustainable development, empathy, and cross-cultural engagement, fostering meaningful connections for lasting social change.

Fun facts: I’m an avid solo traveler who enjoys immersing myself in diverse cultures. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, and gardening.

I’m Deekshak from Lalitpur, Nepal and I have been at the FutureSense Foundation since June 2023, where I work as a Programme Implementor. In my role, I support the in-country team, participants, and community partners through project coordination, mentorship, and research. My focus is aligning our work with the UN’s goals in Education, Health, and Livelihoods to create lasting community impact. I’m deeply passionate about working with diverse volunteers and children, and I believe even small efforts can create life-changing results. I also love exploring my country and learning about its rich, diverse culture.

Fun fact: I have travelled almost all districts of the country and am soon planning to make that a record of 100%.

Hi I am Josias from Panama. I’ve been the Operations Hub Manager since March 2024. What I love most about my job is working closely with local communities and sharing meaningful moments with those we help. As someone who loves my country, I enjoy showing our international participants the beauty of Panama’s land and culture. My passion for community work began when my travel agency collaborated with rural and indigenous communities. Their connection to nature and unique worldview inspired me to give back by supporting education, community development, and healthcare projects, made possible through the contributions of our clients and local companies.

Fun fact: I’m also a photographer and videographer! I’ve travelled to several countries as a portrait photographer, even working with big brands like Corona, Expedia, and Beautiful Destinations to create travel content showcasing incredible tourist spots.

Panama Martina

I’m Martina, from Sydney, Australia and I’ve worked in Panama as a GMPI from March 2024 and a project implementor since September 2024. The best part of my job is connecting with the community, learning from them, and connecting through cultural experiences. I love our community and how friendly and open everyone is here, always eager to share their stories and learn about mine. My time in Panama has truly felt like finding a home away from home. I’m passionate about travelling, helping others, football (the real one), and most importantly making people laugh.

Fun fact: I love sharing, but when it comes to food—especially when I’m hungry—it’s a different story!

Hi, I’m Alice Rojas from Panama. I am a Programme Implementor at FutureSense Foundation, where I have been working for the past two months supporting the delivery of community-based programmes and collaborating with local learners and partners. I enjoy creating meaningful learning experiences and seeing the growth and confidence of young people. I love working in my community because I can connect with people from my own town and contribute to positive change. I’m passionate about education, leadership, and love exploring new places, gaining new experiences, and continuously learning from different cultures.

A fun fact about me is that when I’m stressed, I start baking desserts!

Peru Erika

I’m Erika, originally from Lima, Peru. I’ve been with FutureSense Foundation as the Programme Delivery Lead since 2023, and I truly cherish every moment of it. What I love most about my job is the opportunity to interact with different communities, design educational projects, and create sustainability initiatives. Working in Urubamba’s community is incredibly rewarding as it allows me to directly see the impact of our work on kids’ lives, making a tangible difference where it counts the most. I’m deeply passionate about learning, climate action, education, technology, and arts and I strive every day to contribute positively in this area.

Fun fact: I like cooking Peruvian food and I have two dogs called Nina and Chispas.

I’m Brenda from Peru, and I joined the team in May 2024 as a Programme Implementor. What drew me to this work is the foundation’s commitment to creating impactful learning experiences and engaging deeply with communities. I love that we’re not only providing resources but also learning alongside those we serve, especially the children, who have so much to teach us in return. I’m passionate about discovering new places and connecting through creative expression—whether through dance, drawing, or simply engaging with others. Recognizing what brings me peace and joy enables me to share that positive energy, helping me contribute meaningfully to the world around me.

Fun fact: Since childhood, exercise has always been a part of my life. I’ve done competitive artistic gymnastics for 5 years and tried sports like basketball, volleyball, track, swimming, and soccer.

Hi, I’m Mork from Thailand, and I’m the Programme Lead for Health at FutureSense Foundation, where I’ve worked for six years. I love that this role has pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me grow my skills. I’m passionate about cultural respect, believing each community has its own way of life, and it’s important to appreciate and respect these differences. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing communities apply what they’ve learned to improve their daily lives.

I am Nueathong and I’ve been with FutureSense Foundation since 2024 as a Programme Implementor. There are many aspects of my job that I enjoy, including the constant opportunities to constantly try new things, helping me improve and gain valuable experience. Working with diverse communities is both challenging and rewarding, offering insights from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. Collaborating with a diverse team requires patience, understanding, and effort, but it ensures smooth and effective work.

I am originally from the UK and have spent the past decade working across East Africa delivering play-based development programmes. In my role with FSF, I focus on creating safe, engaging spaces where young people can learn, grow, and build essential life skills.
