Regional Manager - Latin America

FutureSense Foundation is a UK-based international development charity working at the grassroots level in 7 countries. We are on a mission to build a fairer, more sustainable world – one community at a time. 

FutureSense Foundation supports underserved communities across Latin America, Asia, and Africa through programmes aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our approach is unique: we engage student groups from the UK and Australia to help deliver community-based development through short-term service-learning experiences. 

We are now looking for a dynamic Regional Manager to lead our operations in Peru and Panama, while helping grow our footprint across Latin America. This role is suited to someone ideally already based in or able to easily relocate to Latin America or a similar time zone, as part of our effort to maintain cost efficiency while maximising regional engagement. 

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and support our local country teams in Peru and Panama 
  • Ensure high-impact programme delivery in education, health, & livelihoods with gender equality and climate action as cross cutting  
  • Guide the meaningful engagement of student groups taking part in our in-country programmes 
  • Develop partnerships with community organisations, NGOs, and local authorities 
  • Monitor performance, budgets, and regional impact 
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation across the region 
  • Collaborate closely with our global leadership team and other regional managers 
About You

What We are Looking For: 

  • You have 5+ years’ experience in international development, social impact, or NGO leadership 
  • You have led multicultural teams, ideally across different countries 
  • You understand (or are excited by) the power of student and volunteer engagement in global development 
  • You are a strategic thinker and partnership builder 
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish (both are essential) 
  • You are based in Latin America or a similar time zone – or are willing to locate to the region
  • You love flexible, purpose-driven work and are happy to travel occasionally across the region
