In Tanzania, we delivered a project to one local school in Arusha. The workshops reach 180 students from grade 6, which is students aged 11-15 years.
The project we delivered was based on environmental education in the area of climate change such as global warming, ozone layer, loss of biodiversity, pollution, deforestation and desertification.
During the workshop, we did different activities to support the students understanding, such as experiments on how ozone layer depletion occurs, and also how loss of biodiversity occurs. The students were able to understand how they can help with environmental conservation.
